An appeal before the Appellate Tribunal must be filed within 45 days from the date on which a copy of the order made by the Adjudicating Authority or Competent Authority is received. The Tribunal may entertain an appeal after the expiry of 45 days if satisfied that there was sufficient cause for not filing within that period.

The appeal memo must be accompanied by a certified copy of the impugned order, requisite court fee/tribunal fee payment receipt, vakalatnama or letter of authorization, index of documents, verified affidavit, and supporting evidence as prescribed under the Appellate Tribunal rules.

Daily cause lists are published on this portal by 6:00 PM for the following working day. Litigants and advocates can search the Cause List section by Case Number, Party Name, or Bench to view courtroom allocation, serial number, and hearing schedule.

Yes. The Appellate Tribunal facilitates hybrid hearing options via dedicated video conferencing links. Counsel wishing to appear virtually must submit a virtual appearance request via email to the Registry at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled hearing.

The Tribunal exercises appellate jurisdiction over orders passed by the Adjudicating Authority and Competent Authorities under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976 (SAFEMA), the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS), the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA), the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act, 2018 (FEOA), and the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act, 1988 (PBPT).

Parties to the proceedings or their authorized advocates can apply for certified copies either through the online Certified Copy Request module in the e-Filing portal or by submitting Form C at the physical Registry counter with the requisite copying charges.
